Today, my post is about “How to Use Meta Tags In Blogger Blog“. Meta Tags are used for crawling and indexing pages easily in search engines. So use of meta tags in your blogger blog is very important to get index by search engines. We use meta tags in blogger blog in the header section to get more intention from search engines like Google, Yahoo, Aol etc.

So lets start Using Meta Tags In Blogger Blog.

This is sample keyword meta tag use for blog.

<meta content=’ Add Keywords Separated By Commas ‘ name=’keywords’/>

You can add keywords that is related to your niche. just like example below

<meta content=’ food, best food, food samples, diet food, high protein food, food menus ‘ name=’keywords’/>

Do not us some much keywords in one article, only choose relevant keywords for your article and the length of keyword must be about 30 character long.

Meta Tags Description is used for article summary that what is article about.

The code for this Meta Tag Description is given below.

<meta content=’your blog description here’ name=’description’/>

You can change this description for your own need just like I used in picture above that is “Make An Online Store On Blogger.com. eStore Is a Free eCommerce Blogger Template For Build Online Store. Now You Can Sell Your Products very easy.”

So Lets start step by step.

1.  Log in into Blogger.com
2. Click Layout
3. Click EDIT HTML Tab
4. Click Download Full template
5. Find the code below:

6. Add the meta tag code that you have made right under the code below

<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

<meta content=’Blog Description Here’ name=’description’/>

<meta content=’ Keywords Here’ name=’keywords’/>

7. Click on SAVE TEMPLATE
8. Finish
